Watch a sneak peek of premiere episode of DANCING WITH THE STARS Season 11 episode
Audrina Patridge and Tony Dovolani Audrina surprised me. I only know her from people making fun of her on The Hills, and she seemed…well, not quite as dumb as she acts in all the clips that Joel McHale pulls. Maybe it was just very careful editing. Anyway. I agreed with everything the judges said, but I placed her Cha Cha where Len did, a 7. The moves were right, she just needed the performance aspect—more relationship with Tony, more totality of dance instead of just going through the moves. But she has potential, and that’s a lot more than I expected from her.
“You look like a beautiful show pony that needs to be pushed to the limit and whipped into shape.”

Lindsay Lohan Vanity Fair Hq Photos

Lindsay Lohan Vanity Fair Hq Photos
Lindsay Lohan is the cover girl for Vanity Fair magazine. The actress, 24, who is not long out of jail and rehab off a three-year-old DUI charge for which she violated probation, covers the October 2010 issue of Vanity Fair.
she was also seen to pose for Complex, GQ Germany (the cover of which she used as her Twitter background), and Maxim. It was noted, that she’d posed for this in July too, and the issue would be released a few weeks after her release. Well, here it is. The October cover, and the interview snippets can also be found below.
The October issue of Vanity Fair magazine hits newsstands in New York and Los Angeles on Thursday. The same issue is released nationwide on September 7.
In a July interview with the magazine before she served 14 days in jail followed by 23 days of inpatient rehab, she defended her actions, saying she was young and curious and was associating with the wrong people: “So many people around me would say they cared for the wrong reasons,” Lohan said. “A lot of people were pulling from me, taking from me and not giving. I had a lot of people that were there for me for, you know, the party.”
Lohan says she used to get her news from tabloids, which she now calls “scary and sad”: “I would look up to those girls… the Britneys and whatever,” she said. “And I would be like, I want to be like that.”
She says of her addictions: “If I were the alcoholic everyone says I am, then putting a [SCRAM] bracelet on would have ended me up in detox, in the emergency room, because I would have had to come down from all the things that people say I’m taking.” She continues, “I think everyone has their own addictions and hopefully learns how to get past them.”

Despite everything, Lohan is confident in her acting abilities and future: “I don’t care what anyone says. I know that I’m a damn good actress.”
She says she’ll do whatever it takes to fix her party-girl image: “I want my career back,” she said. “I want the respect that I had when I was doing great movies. And if that takes not going out to a club at night, then so be it. It’s not fun anyway.”
She also addresses issues with her father, Michael Lohan, saying: “I think my biggest focus for myself is learning how to continue to get through the trauma that my father has caused in my life.”
She said that her bad decisions were made in part because of the bad role models she had from other hot young stars. "I would look up to those girls… the Britneys and whatever. And I would be like, I want to be like that," she said. "I had a lot of responsibility; and I think just the second I didn't have [structure] anymore—I was 18, 19—with a ton of money and no one really here to tell me that I couldn't do certain things… And I see where that’s gotten me now, and I don’t like it."

Angelina Jolie meets flood victims in Pakistan

American movie star Angelina Jolie met flood victims in northwestern Pakistan and appealed to the international community to provide aid needed to help the country recover from its worst natural disaster.
The flow of aid money has stalled in recent days, and officials expressed hope the two-day visit by Jolie — who serves as a "goodwill ambassador" for the U.N.'s refugee agency — will convince foreign countries and individuals to open their wallets.
The 35-year-old actress said she met with many people whose lives have been devastated by the floods, including mothers who lost their children and an elderly Pakistani couple who feared they would never be able to rebuild the home they lost.
I am very moved by them and I hope that I am able to, today and tomorrow, be able to do something to help bring attention to the situation for all of the people in need in Pakistan," Jolie told reporters after visiting a refugee camp in the Jalozai area.
She toured the area wearing a long black robe and a black headscarf adorned with a thin red stripe — the kind of conservative clothing worn by many Muslim women in Pakistan.
The floods began in the northwest at the end of July after extremely heavy monsoon rains and slowly surged south along the Indus River, swallowing up hundreds of villages and towns and killing more than 1,700 people. Another 17 million have been affected by the floods, and many will need emergency assistance to survive.
The United Nations issued an appeal for $460 million in emergency funds on Aug. 11, but only $294 million, or 64 percent, has been received so far, and donations have more or less dried up in recent days.
